If you have registered for Patient Access, you can use this system (via the button below) to order repeat prescriptions. You can also email your requests to us at firstname.lastname@example.org, stating your name, DOB, address and item(s) required.
Requests for repeat prescriptions are not taken over the telephone with the exception of housebound patients. There is a request slip on the right-hand side of your prescription that you need to complete and deposit before your next prescription is due.
All repeat prescription requests take 2 working days (weekends not included) to be processed and will be available after 16:00 on the second working day after being placed.
We would appreciate it if patients do not call into surgery to collect prescriptions before 16:00 unless discussed with a member of our team.
It is important that you clearly tick the items you require. You may prefer to post your repeat prescription request to us enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope – then we can post your prescription back to you.
If you nominate a pharmacy via the reception team, we can electronically send your prescription directly to the chemist. Please ask a member of our team if you wish to nominate a pharmacy.
If you wish to deliver your request for a repeat prescription to the surgery, there is a box at the entrance for prescriptions which is opened regularly – this will save you time waiting at the reception desk. We have arrangements with some local chemists that will deliver prescriptions to the elderly or housebound – please ask at reception.Order Online via Patient Access
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and a notification should appear on your repeat prescription slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
