Staff training afternoons usually occur once a month and the surgeries will be closed during this time. We are always closed on public holidays. A list of upcoming public holidays can be found at www.gov.uk/bank-holidays.
Out of hours

| Emergencies | You should always call 999 in an emergency situation, even if we are open. Medical emergencies can include loss of consciousness, an acute confused state, fits that are not stopping, chest pain, breathing difficulties, severe bleeding that cannot be stopped, severe allergic reactions, and severe burns or scalds. |
Getting to the surgeries
If you are travelling via train or bus, you can find the latest timetables and route planner by visiting the Merseytravel website.
Both buildings are accessible by wheelchair and all parts of the building you may need to access are located on the ground floor, including disabled toilets. If you require any assistance during your time at the surgery then we are always happy and willing to assist you.
For Prenton Medical Centre patients, there is parking available at the rear of the building.
For Woodchurch Medical Centre patients, there are public parking spaces available on the road in front of the building.
